UMD 97EVU – Measurement technology for CAT IV environments

UMD 97EVU

The UMD 97EVU is a powerful front panel meter* for CAT IV environments. It measures 3-phase current and voltage in 4-quadrant operation in class 0.2 and thus the work in class 0.5s as well as all common mains quantities, e.g. harmonics up to the 50th harmonic. It can be connected via current transformers with N/5 A and N/1 A. It maps the mains quality according to EN 50160, EN 61000-2-2, EN 61000-2-4, EN 61000-2-12. It has a brilliant large colour graphic display. The UMD 97 is conveniently operated via 5 function keys. A PT100 sensor is integrated internally. It has a large 512 MB memory. The unit can be accessed via the Ethernet interface and the mini USB connection on the front. This means that Internet protocols can also be used and PLC and building management systems can be easily connected. Digital inputs/outputs and a serial RS485 interface are also integrated. For network analysis, the measuring device can be extended with the firmware modules PQ S and GO. The ENVIS software is used to parameterise or visualise the unit.

* Also suitable for top-hat rail mounting with adapter.

Application

The unit is used in all CAT IV environments. A suitable CAT IV power supply unit can be found in our accessories.
