The RCM-CT6 is designed to detect AC and DC residual fault currents in earthed power systems, such as those caused by insulation faults in electrical loads. It enables the measurement of differential currents up to 500 mA over a frequency range from DC to 2 kHz. The device is particularly suitable for applications with load currents up to 32 A and is ideal for monitoring final circuits. Two individually adjustable response thresholds allow clear differentiation between pre-warning and alarm conditions.
An RS485 interface supporting the Modbus RTU protocol is available for data transmission. This interface allows measured values and alarm states to be transmitted and enables convenient configuration of device parameters.
