UMD 98LB-CBM and UMD 98EVU LB: Expansion of modular measurement technology
The tried-and-tested UMD 98LB, for connecting the compact MMI 12 measurement modules, is now also available in the new UMD 98LB-CBM version. This enables the modular measurement technology to be interrogated via the serial RS485 interface.
We have also equipped the UMD 98EVU, which is in high demand, with a local bus connection. The new UMD 98EVU LB variant now enables standard-compliant measurement and modular recording of all outgoing circuits in CAT IV environments and modern transmission via MQTT.
MQTT firmware module: Modern communication
Thanks to the new generation of processors, our UMD 97, UMD 98 and UMD 911 series measuring devices now support MQTT. If required, this extension enables even simpler and more efficient integration of the devices into modern IoT-based systems in order to transfer measurement data and optimise communication. With MQTT, we offer you a future-proof solution for seamless networking and data transmission.
J3(S)CT: New variants for easy retrofitting
The fully pre-assembled J3SCT28 converter set with RJ12 connection is now also available in a 250 A version, in addition to the previous 400 A version. For smaller currents, we offer the compact J3SCT18 with 160 A. The practical J3CT plug-on transformer is now available in a version for primary currents of 5 A and 20 A in one variant.
GC-UV243: Buffered DC power supply
The GC-UV243 has long-lasting and maintenance-free ultracapacitors, which are charged and discharged with microcontroller support, to ensure that the measurement technology and other important components continue to be supplied reliably in the event of voltage dips or power failures. The capacity of the energy storage unit can be expanded using external capacitor modules.
+++ Our highlights +++
The UMD 97, UMD 98 and MMD 98RCM series offer more performance and flexibility thanks to the new processor and USB-C connection. With a sampling rate of 57.6 kHz and a measurement accuracy of 0.1 for current and voltage, they guarantee precise measurements. The devices enable extended harmonic measurement up to the 128th harmonic and offer a faster update rate of up to 40 ms (instead of 200 ms). The new UMD 97 and UMD 98 measure voltages up to 1120 V. This simplifies use in 690 V and 800 V networks and saves costs. The new MMD 98RCM variant can also measure supraharmonics up to 9 kHz.
These updates keep the devices fit for future requirements, e.g. in accordance with DIN EN 50160.
