The energy transition is transforming our power grids: photovoltaics, heat pumps, e-mobility, and new regulatory requirements are making the low-voltage grid increasingly complex. Albstadtwerke is therefore already taking the next step. In a joint pilot project with **PQ Plus** and **GridCal**, smart metering technology, real-time data, and digital grid data are being integrated. This creates greater transparency regarding the actual state of the grid. Grid bottlenecks can be identified early, investments planned more precisely, and the foundation laid for increasingly digital grid operations. The video shows how Albstadtwerke is putting digitalization into practice—from installation at the local distribution substation to the digital twin.
